Edenwood

A drawing I did to practice environment backgrounds. I spent several hours on this while listening to Sycra's livestream recordings. I feel like I really need to start drawing more than I do currently.

I didn't realize until I finished it, but I think I was subconsciously basing this off of Faron Woods from Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. I don't know a huge amount about trees or how they are structured (evidently) so I came up with a sort of... rootish approach? Not sure.

Either way I had a lot of fun drawing this, and even though I can still see the mistakes I made, I learned a lot from this drawing and it is 10x better than anything I could have churned out a few months ago. Now then, back to drawing people! Ya-ha!!!
